The calorie count of banana is high compared to other fruits but low in fat and protein. In both the forms of banana i.e., the unripe banana the carbs content is mostly in the form of starch and resistant starch, but in the banana ripens, the starch turns into sugar namely glucose, fructose and sucrose. 

Along with this bananas contain silica element that helps your body to synthesize collagen and may make your hair stronger and thicker. Not only this but bananas also have antimicrobial properties that can heal flaky and dry scalp, relieving dandruff symptoms. Ingredients for the banana hair mask  

  • 2 medium-sized banana  
  • Honey 2 tbsp. 
  • Coconut oil 2tbsp

Procedure 

Mix all ingredients and blend it with the blender. Apply the paste firm bottom part i.e., form end of the hair and then apply in all hair. Leave this for a minimum of 1-2 hours and wash it with shampoo. Don’t use conditioner after this. Use this mask once a week.

In an egg both of the 2 part i.e., egg yolk, the yellow ball suspended in the white of an egg when you crack it open, are useful for hair.   • Egg 1

  • Raw milk – 2 tbsp. 
  • Lemon juice – 6-8 drops (optional)  

Procedure 

Take both the part (egg white and egg yolk) in a container. Add all the ingredients. Mix it well. Detangle your hair and apply it form your roots to the tip of the hair. Keep this mask for at least 10-15 mints. And wash it with cold water by applying shampoo and conditioner. Try to use this mask once a week for better results.  

Aloe vera hair mask 

Aloe vera is a well known medicinal plant from ancient times. And still, there is plenty of research that has proven it. However, there is no evidence of regeneration of hair by aloe vera but has proven solution of many of the hair problem including infection, frizzy hairs, dandruff etc.  

Aloe vera mask can be used in artificial gel form or consumed directly from the plant. It contains polysaccharide and glycoprotein which provides a cooling effect on the scalp. Same also contains proteolytic enzymes which repair dead cell of the hair scalp and also initiate the dormant or resting hair follicles for hair growth along with moist and smooth texture.

Procedure 

Take an appropriate amount of aloe vera gel according to your hair length. Mix 2 teaspoon of coconut oil ( you can increase the amount as per the requirement). Add other ingredients. Detangle your hair and start applying form the end of your hair towards the scalp. Make sure that while applying the mask your hands move towards the direction of the end. Split your hair in a different section for better application and at last comb it with a wide-toothed comb, so that it covers the whole hair.  

Cover your head with a towel wet in hot water or you can use a shower cap and apply heat by hair drier. Keep this mask for at least 30 minutes and then wash it off with normal water.
